Location: Wick St Lawrence , North Somerset

This is one of our many maintenance contracts. This vast area in Wick St Lawrence, is owned by IOTA, a producer of garden pots and features.

These area’s are used as their show gardens and so have to be maintained to a very high standard.

Starting out as a large turfed area, we had our hands full. After stripping the turf back, all of the edging boards were put in before the paths could be gravelled. Once that was complete we started preparing the beds for the vegetables. For this, double digging is required, digging out one spades depth, then forking another depth before replacing the removed soil with fertiliser
